Biotechnology Concentration

Our new biotechnology concentration is available for both Microbiology and Plant Biology degrees.  Biotechnology is an interdisciplinary field of science that leverages new and developing technologies to improve agricultural practices and food production, develop alternative fuel sources, create new drugs and develop methods to diagnose and treat disease, and remediate contaminated environments.

The biotechnology sector is an expanding job market in the fields of biomedical science, bioengineering, agriculture and environmental sustainability.  Talk to your advisor about whether the biotechnology concentration is right for you.
